Matkarimov Madrim has been working as a member of the Khiva City branch of the Union of artisans of the Republic of Uzbekistan since 2005, as a hand carpet weaver craftsman. Silk carpet weaving uses natural dyes and Silk. Natural dyes are obtained mainly from nuts, red onions, pomegranate peels, grapes, apples and mulberry leaves from the rosehip Root and indigo plant, zok minerals. Carpet weaving mainly uses miniatures made in the 14th-15th century, patterns on the old doors and walls of the city of Khiva. Participant of the 2010-2013 traditional carpet exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany and the 2015 Islamic Art Craft Festival in the Republic of Arabia.
She was also awarded a special diploma for her contribution to the development of Uzbekistan’s tourism industry by participating in a program on the Silk Art Project in Massachusetts, United States, from September 27 to October 18, 2016, and a certificate of International traditional carpet weaving assosion in Santa fi, United States, in June 2016
