How to join an association?

I. Membership in the Craftsman Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

1.1. The association is indicated by the direction of crafts, identified by the decision of The Art Council of the Union, recognizes the charter, agrees to pay contributions on admission and time of membership, expresses a desire to actively participate in the activities of the Union, has the right to work in accordance with the legislation at the time of admission to membership, stateless persons and foreign nationals may become members.

1.2. Membership of the association is through a petition written in the name of the chairman of the association. The application will be considered within 3 working days and informed to the author of the application.

1.3. The application is considered by The Art Council of the Association, which, based on the main areas of approved craft activities, decides on the definition of the type of craft.

1.4. The status of admission to membership of the association is confirmed by issuing a special certificate after payment of fixed membership fee contributions.

1.5. People’s Masters and craftsmen who have made a significant contribution to the field of Folk Crafts Art of the Republic of Uzbekistan for many years, as well as union employees who have contributed to the development of crafts up to 10-15 years, can be recognized as honorary members of the Association based on the decision of the Board of Trustees of the association.

1.6. The decision of The Art Council to the member admitted to the Association, a certificate of payment of the annual membership fee. A contract between the association and the craftsman and a certificate of membership in a single form are issued.On admission to the Association, the annual membership fee is paid in the amount of 6 times the minimum wage.

1.7. The withdrawal from the membership of the association is carried out in a voluntary manner based on the application of the member by the decision of the chairman of the association or the heads of the branches of the Union, respectively. Deprivation of membership is carried out by the chairman of the relevant council of the association or the heads of the godly administration. Deprivation of membership is considered in relation to members who grossly violate the requirements of the association’s charter or do not pay their membership fees on time, and is carried out by the chairman of the association, heads of divisions.

1.8. When withdrawing from membership, the entry and membership fees paid by the person in advance, as well as the property and funds given to the Union’s ownership, are not refunded.

1.9. The account of the members of the association is carried out by the Association and its godly departments in the places where they are located.

II. Rights of association members:

– In the event of a refusal to accept membership in the association or dissatisfaction with this when removed from the membership of the Association, an appeal to the governing body of the association with a complaint about the wish.
– Conduct entrepreneurial activity as an individual entrepreneur by registering with the established procedure;
– freedom of creativity, independent sale of manufactured products and items and opening their own creative workshops, department stores;
– Use of all types of services and assistance provided by the association;
– participation in events organized by Republican and international creative associations;
– After artisans who wish to leave the Union’s membership pay their debt in existing membership fees for the membership period, their certificate of membership is revoked;
– Members of the association will have the privileges established in the documents of the law.

III. Obligations of association members:

– comply with the requirements established in the Constituent documents and in this charter and fulfill the obligations received;
– participation in the implementation of the activities of the association;
– timely payment of fixed membership fees each year;
– Exhibitions held by the association, active participation in various events;
– Informing the head of the association that members of the association will participate in international events, exhibitions and seminars held in foreign countries, as well as other events;
– Organization of “Master-Apprentice” schools and vocational training of young people;
– Replenishment of the union fund with products of folk applied arts when conducting social events;
– Union members do not retain their rights to membership contributions paid to the Union. They do not respond to Union obligations, while the Union does not in turn respond to the obligations of its members.
– Members of the association organize and can participate in production and Master-Apprentice schools with their property,
members may withdraw when they wish to have the property granted for the formation of” Master-Apprentice ” schools.
– A member of the Association carries out entrepreneurial activity only after state registration as an individual entrepreneur in the established manner.

IV. Features of entrepreneurial activity of members of the association:

– The acceptance of persons engaged in folk Applied Arts and national crafts as a member of the “Craftsman” Association does not directly give khukuq to the khunarmand, the master of folk applied arts, to engage in entrepreneurial activities.
