The Republican Association “Hunarmand” of Uzbekistan was established based on the laws “On Non-Governmental Non-Commercial Organizations,” “On Public Associations in the Republic of Uzbekistan,” and other laws regulating the activities of non-governmental non-commercial organizations, as well as the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. DP-1741 dated March 31, 1997. It is a self-governing non-governmental non-commercial organization that unites individuals and legal entities on a voluntary basis, does not aim to generate income (profit) as its primary objective, and does not distribute income among its members.
The main mission of the association is to coordinate the activities of artists, art historians, folk artisans, and craftsmen working based on the traditions of folk craftsmanship, support their collaboration, protect their rights and legal interests, achieve social, cultural, and educational goals, satisfy spiritual and other non-material needs, engage in charitable activities, and realize other socially beneficial objectives.
