In order to attract talented craftsmen and talented young people to the II “International Craft Festival”, an exhibition and a competition of two stages was organized under the slogan “I will go to Kokand”.
The first stage-by districts (cities) – was organized in March 2023 and was attended by about two thousand artisans.
The second stage-the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent-took place in April 2023 and was attended by about a thousand artisans. The website posted information about the festival, national crafts, artisans, handicraft products produced by them.
In the framework of the “international pottery forum”, master classes are also organized in the Rishton district by the Masters of scientific and Practical Conference, competition, presentation and demonstrations, exhibition-sales, theatrical concert-performance programs,cultural and educational and propaganda events, ceramics characteristic of different regions of Uzbekistan, popular folk applied arts of their schools.
