As previously reported, Rasuljon Mirzaahmedov, Chairman of the “Hunarmand” Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is on an official trip in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
As part of the trip, the head of the association visited the workshop of the renowned craftswoman Zulfiya Masharipova in the Takhiatash district.
He reviewed the work being carried out in this workshop, efforts aimed at developing local craftsmanship, and the conditions being created for artisans.
In discussions, they covered issues of improving the design of handicraft products, adapting them to modern requirements, and finding suitable markets for products. They also exchanged views on support measures the Hunarmand Association will implement in this area.
“Hunarmand” Association has been paying special attention to supporting artisans, further expanding their activities, and preserving national heritage.
