The Chairman of the “Hunarmand” Association, Rasuljon Mirzaakhmedov, met with Uzbekistan’s People’s Artist and “Hunarmand” Association member, Azamkho’ja Asqarov, to review the artisan’s handcrafted works.
Asqarov is one of the few master artisans in Uzbekistan who specializes in adorning ordinary mirrors with intricate and unique ornamental patterns. His masterfully crafted, aesthetically refined artworks embellish numerous buildings and architectural structures across the country.
During the conversation, the Association Chairman listened to the artisan’s challenges and proposals, sharing his insights on further developing this rare art form through the ustoz-shogird (master-apprentice) tradition.
