International School of Calligraphy and “Kitobat” Art to open in Uzbekistan

The school will admit students aged 6 to 60 through a competitive selection process.
Each class will accommodate up to 12 students.
Students will not only practice calligraphy but also master the history of writing, Uzbek, Arabic, and Persian languages and scripts, “Husni hat” (traditional Arabic calligraphy), western calligraphy (Latin script), eastern calligraphy (Arabic, Latin, Cyrillic scripts), fundamentals of “Kitobat” art
At the Scientific Council meeting held at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, the establishment and planned activities of this school were formally presented.
