During a business trip in Thailand, members of the Uzbek delegation had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the TCDC (Thailand Creative & Design Center), an innovative and creative hub. This innovative, creative center is a state-run organization with four branches across Thailand. The center has a dedicated library, which houses literature on various fields where designers actively work.
They adapt Thai artisans’ products to fit the modern world’s demands. For example, suppose an artisan traditionally made a product solely from silk. In that case, they suggest adapting the product using tree bark, responding to current market demands.
This creative hub also plays a crucial role in uniting artisans from remote areas of Thailand. It provides significant support to increase the export volume of their products.
