Handicrafts not only preserve national values but also play a significant role in contributing to the economy, creating new jobs, and introducing local brands to the global market.
Rishtan pottery, with its centuries-old history, unique style, and traditions, is currently developing in line with modern demands and consumer markets. Master artisans are working to preserve the heritage and breathe new life into it by creating aesthetically high-quality products that meet contemporary tastes.
This meeting was essential in further supporting handicrafts in the Fergana region, supporting local artisans, and implementing their initiatives.
