In Samarkand, the “Silk Road” International Research Institute is hosting the II International Scientific and Practical Seminar on “ Ways to Restore Endangered Carpet Types of Uzbekistan”
Within the framework of the international seminar, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Silk Road International Research Institute and the Republican Association Hunarmand .
Under the memorandum, cooperation will focus on participating in scientific research projects and publishing their results, organizing joint seminars, conferences, competitions, student exhibitions, PhD and DSc dissertation defenses, and student exhibitions. It will also involve inviting leading professors to give lectures on pressing issues related to architecture, design, construction, and the preservation and restoration of architectural heritage. Moreover, joint internships and practical training programs for students and young teachers, as well as the development of joint curricula focused on the current principles and needs of the labor market, will be prioritized.
