A vivid example of the Master–Apprentice tradition

In Akaltyn district of Syrdarya region, craftswoman Feruza Abdusalomovna Ergasheva contributes to the development of national handicrafts by passing her rich experience on to the younger generation.
The master-apprentice tradition has been preserved by our ancestors for centuries and remains an integral part of craftsmanship to this day. Feruza-opa not only teaches her students the techniques of traditional weaving and handicrafts but also instills in them a deep respect and passion for the profession.
Such initiatives help preserve and promote handicraft heritage, support women’s employment, and safeguard our national values. Young people learning from their mentors continue to hone their skills and are poised to carry forward the traditions of craftsmanship in the future.
We wish Feruza Abdusalomovna Ergasheva continued success and creative inspiration in her tireless efforts to promote national handicrafts!
