The forum’s goal is to promote handicrafts, a significant sector in the global economy, preserve the traditions and schools of pottery, one of the key areas of handicrafts, expand scientific research in this area, facilitate the exchange of experiences, create new job opportunities, and encourage talented artisans.
The forum is held every two years in September in harmony with the International Handicraft Festival in Kokand.
Within the forum, a scientific-practical conference and other events will be organized on the theme “Preserving and Developing Traditional Pottery: Problems and Solutions.”
Representatives of museum shops, souvenir trade networks, international buyers, and renowned collectors will be invited to attend the forum and other international cultural events organized by the Presidential Decrees of Uzbekistan.
