A meeting took place between Adiz Boboev, Acting Khokim of the Samarkand region, and Kang Dae-young, Secretary-General of the Organization for Tourism Promotion in Global Cities and Ambassador of Uzbekistan’s tourism brand to South Korea.
Adiz Boboev highlighted the current state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea in the tourism sector. The meeting will serve to further strengthen the friendly ties between our peoples.
Following the meeting, a roundtable discussion was held between companies from Samarkand and Chungcheongbuk-do.
Umid Hakimov, the head of the regional department of the “Hunarmand” association, who traveled from the Samarkand region to South Korea, met with Ahn Myeong-su, Director of Chungbuk Handicrafts Cooperative, a handicraft production enterprise, and his deputy, O Jin-ju.
They signed agreements to organize joint handicraft production projects.
